More Clarion 2007 Chalk Art

Can't promise you awesome chalk art, but it's an awesome instructor line-up!

And then there were the birthday works: The stegosaur for Drew and for Julie; and the Perseponie for Katie (a reference to a story she wrote at Clarion). Shweta was responsible for the first, and Kater for the second.

That's most of what we had, I think. The masterpiece, IMO, was "The Scream" and that's on Shweta's LJ already, along with the amazing robotic Mickey.

So to continue my response to Shweta's post about Clarion chalk art... Here's another piece of art... and Shweta creating it. If I remember correctly, it's inspired by the decorative and auspicious rice-flour patterns made in many Indian cultures: kolam in South India, rangoli in North India, alpana in Bengal.
