My 1500-word story, The Mermaid's Eldest Sister, is up at  Enchanted Conversation, which is a charming fairy-tale web-magazine run by Kate Wolford. The magazine goes by themes, and this time's theme was Anderson's The Little Mermaid.

Adel, the mermaid's son, is seeking his own story when he agrees to meet his aunt for the first time. He doesn't expect to be confronted with a terrible ethical dilemma.
