RIP Ripley, the Borderlands Cat

keyan_bowesBorderlands, the wonderful spec-fic bookstore in San Francisco, was enhanced by the presence of two Sphinx cats. They enjoyed the company of the bookstore patrons, climbed into laps, investigated bags, and generally charmed visitors.
The older cat, Ripley, was recently diagnosed with an inoperable stomach cancer. She had to be euthanased. There's a memorial blog for her, put up by Borderlands.
We'll miss her. These pictures were taken the night Barack Obama won the election.
